Dusk Beyond the End of the World

Akira Himegami, a high school student, finally wakes up from his long cryogenic sleep and finds the world around him is completely different. His hometown was destroyed in a war, and now a group named OWEL controls societies, and the normal marriages are called ‘Elsie.’ While trying to understand the situation, Akira meets Yuugure, a cute girl who looks similar to his girlfriend, Towasa. Yuugure asks him softly to marry her. A confused and speechless Akira decides to follow Yuugura with the hope of finding Towasa in this broken land. This journey allows them to find the true meaning of love and understand their emerging bond.
