Aoi Tsubaki has had the power to see spirits of the Hidden Realm, the Ayakashi, since her childhood. After being abandoned by her mother, she was raised by her grandfather, Shirou Tsubaki, who also has the same power. So he teaches her about living peacefully with these creatures. After his sudden death, she continues her college life alone and depends on her cooking skills to survive among the spirits. She knows the spirits kill humans, so she decides to feed them to avoid their attacks. One day, she was kidnapped to the Hidden realm just after she had finished her lunch with an ayakashi. The spirit introduces him as Ooganna, the ogre-god and the master innkeeper of the famous hotel. She learns that her grandfather had a huge loan to pay them, so they brought her here. Ooganna asks her to marry him, to clear the debt, but she refuses and decides to fix things. She opens a restaurant there and wants to repay her debt with her earnings. This anime follows the brave journey of Aoi, who helps spirits change their lives with her cooking.
